This Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor is a core monitoring component of the SCR selective catalytic reduction aftertreatment system for Cummins Euro V series diesel engines. Its primary function is to monitor temperature in the exhaust system or AdBlue (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) lines in real time and transmit signals to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) for precise control of AdBlue heating and dosing, ensuring efficient SCR system operation within the optimal temperature window to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions and meet Euro V standards.
