Scania Air Dryer
The air dryer is a desiccant-type in-line filtration system that removes most liquid and water vapour from compressor discharge air before it reaches the air brake reservoirs. This results in only clean, dry air being supplied to the air brake system, aiding in the prevention of air-line freeze-ups.
Scania Clutch Servo
The clutch servo is a pneumatically-assisted clutch-actuation device, an essential component of the clutch system on heavy goods vehicles. Having the function to "amplify" the clutch pedal force by using air from the vehicle's compressed air system during the clutch disengagement process. The clutch servo is controlled hydraulically by the clutch master cylinder and operates the clutch mechanically via a lever system.
